The day before school holiday start, Olivia, Yan Ting, XinYee, Eugenia, Eileen and me went to the Settler's which is located in Clarke Quay. We went there so as to understand more about different types of board game which may help us in doing our 2nd assignment. =D
People are friendly there and one of them to suggest us to play Dragon Delta board game. It is a strategic game whereby players have to help each other to build a bridge so that they can go across the river to the other side of land. Although players are supposed to help each other to cross the river but there will be only 1 player who will win the game.
We are supposed to build bridge with rocks and plank to get us to move across the river. There are cards which indicate us what equipment we can use.There are also cards which are able to sabotage the other players by freezing their turns. This is the most fun part whereby the other player was near to victory but because we freeze her to move. She ends up losing her turn.
This game is suitable for family=) with minimum of 2 players to the maximum of 6 players . I realised I love to play those mini family game =). In my point of view, this game is the first strategic board game that I ever played and I find it FUNTASTIC! You get to laugh, chat and shout at your friend while playing. Moreover, you get to see your friend's expression when they win/lose the game.=D
