Cooking Mama is a game for Nintendo DS Lite.
Cooking Mama is a cooking game as you can see from the title itself. It is the game for Nintendo DS Lite. You would have to use the stylus in the DS Lite to play. There are some procedures for you to do such as slicing vegetables, stirring eggs, chopping meat, mixing ingredients, and other cooking steps. There are specific time for you to finish the task. If you failed to do at the specific time, "Mama" will get angry but she will help you to do the rest of the stuffs. "Mama" will praised you if you success. The facial espressions will be as followed.

"Mama" will marked your food based on what you have done. If you received 100% by "Mama", you will received a gold medal. If you received below 100% and above 83%, you will received a silver medal. If you have lower than 83%, you will received a bronze medal.
GAME MODES
Let's Cook-This is the main mode whereby players will start off by choosing dishes they wanted to cook. As they collected more gold medals, more dishes will be unlocked.
Let's Combine-In this mode, player can match 2 recipe together to create a new dish.
Use Skills- In this mode, there are many mini games such as slicing, chopping, grating, wrapping, stewing, tearing, mixing ingredients, etc. These games are time-based. If you managed to finish the given tasks within the time given you will be ranked accordingly.
My View
This game is popular among the girls. They are able to play the game and at the same time they are able to learn cooking from the recipes given. Overall, I find this game interesting and as I unlocked certain dishes. It gave me some contentment.
